Contact FAQ
Why WhatsApp only?
WhatsApp keeps the conversation in one thread, one advisor, with full history searchable. Email and phone fragment the conversation across systems. We have found WhatsApp produces the highest consistency — students get the same answer from any advisor session because the entire prior conversation history is visible.
Response time?
Within 24 hours, Monday–Friday. Weekend messages get replies first thing Monday. For urgent issues during exam-day or visa-deadline crunches, advisors may respond same-day even on weekends — but standard turnaround is one business day.
Do I need to be registered already?
No. Initial consultations are free regardless of whether you’ve registered on Webloom. Pre-registration sessions are typically the highest value because the advisor helps you make the division / track decisions before they’re locked in.
Parents may inquire on my behalf?
Yes. Many initial inquiries come from parents. We respond either to the parent directly or coordinate a three-way conversation (parent + student + advisor) — depending on the family’s preference. For students under 18, parent involvement is welcome and often essential for visa / travel coordination.
About our team
The advisor team behind en.hosa.org.cn is part of the Hanlin Education editorial & mentorship operation, working alongside SKT-iHOSA China to support Chinese students through the HOSA program. Advisors have professional backgrounds in:
- Healthcare-pathway admissions consulting (US, UK, Canada med/dent/nursing/MPH programs)
- HOSA program operations (multi-season iHOSA China experience)
- Academic content (biochemistry, public health, biomedical research)
- English-medium presentation coaching (ILC global stage preparation)
We are an independent guide site. Official HOSA program decisions (event rules, qualification thresholds, ILC logistics) come from HOSA International (hosa.org) and SKT (hosa.org.cn). Our role is editorial — making the program accessible and actionable for Chinese students and their families.
